Privacy Policy — Unnamed Kungfu Climber
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MHC / ChibiClubTD ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Unnamed Kungfu Climber (the "Game"). It applies to the Game on Google Play and the Apple App Store. By downloading or using the Game, you agree to the practices described here.
We have deliberately built the Game to collect as little as possible. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information that identifies you personally.
Who we are
The Game is made by MHC / ChibiClubTD, an independent developer based in Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at the address in the Contact section below, and find more about our games at www.chibiclubtd.com.
Information the Game handles
1. Game data stored on your device
The Game saves a small amount of data locally on your device so it can remember your progress and preferences, for example: your best floor / high score; your settings (such as sound, music, and the high/low colour-tell toggle); whether you have purchased "Remove Ads". This data stays on your device. We do not collect it, and it is removed when you uninstall the Game.
2. Information collected by our advertising provider (Google AdMob)
The Game shows ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may automatically collect and process certain information from your device, which may include: your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers on iOS); approximate, non-precise location derived from your IP address; device and diagnostic information (device model, operating system, app version, and similar); data about your interaction with ads. This information is used to display ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and detect fraud. We do not receive your personal identity from this process; we only receive aggregate reporting. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. For how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
3. Purchases
If you buy "Remove Ads" or any other in-app product, the purchase is processed by the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details; those are handled entirely by the relevant store under its own privacy policy.
4. We do not collect
We do not require or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location. We do not have user accounts or logins in the Game. We do not sell your personal information.
Consent and your ad choices
Consent (EEA/UK): Where required, the Game presents a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before requesting personalised ads, so you can choose whether to allow them.
iOS App Tracking Transparency: On iOS, the Game asks for your permission before any tracking used for personalised advertising.
Reset or limit your advertising ID: You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalisation, at any time in your device settings. Android: Settings → Google → Ads. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
How we use information
We (and our advertising provider on our behalf) use the information above only to: run and maintain the Game and keep your progress; display and measure advertising; understand, in aggregate, how the Game is used so we can improve it; protect against fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
Data retention
Game data is kept on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Game. Information processed by Google AdMob for advertising is retained by Google according to its own policies, which you can review at the Google Privacy Policy link above.
International transfers
Because our advertising provider operates globally, information processed for ads may be handled on servers outside your country, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. Those transfers are governed by the provider's own safeguards and privacy policy.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps. Where ads are shown, they are subject to the ad provider's policies for general-audience apps.
Third-party services
The Game relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Google AdMob (advertising): https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Play / Apple App Store (distribution and purchases): see each store's privacy policy. If we later enable optional features such as leaderboards (Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center), this policy will be updated to describe them before they collect any data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Significant changes will be highlighted where practical. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
