This Privacy Policy explains how the game FOR YOU ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. FOR YOU is a paid, single-player game. We have designed it to collect as little information as possible. There are no advertisements and no in-app purchases.

Summary

  • We do not ask you to create an account with us, and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information directly.

  • The microphone and motion sensors are used only for live gameplay on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

  • Your game progress is saved locally on your device.

  • A small number of third-party services (Google and Unity) may process limited technical data to deliver the app, provide optional features, and help us fix crashes. These are described below.

Device permissions and sensors

Microphone. Some mini-games respond to how loud or quiet you are. The app reads the live audio level (loudness) from the microphone in real time, on your device, purely to run those games. It does not perform speech recognition, and it does not record, save, or send any audio. Nothing from the microphone leaves your device.

Motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope). Some mini-games respond to tilting and moving your device. This sensor data is used in real time on your device for gameplay only. It is not recorded or transmitted.

Information stored on your device

Your progress (such as scores, streaks, badges, in-game credits, unlocks, and settings) is stored locally on your device using standard Android storage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data. The app uses a value derived on your device to drive part of the in-game fiction; this value is generated locally, contains no personal information, and is not transmitted.

Third-party services

Google Play. The app is distributed and sold through Google Play. When you purchase or download the app, Google processes that transaction under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

Google Play Games Services (achievements). If the app offers achievements and you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google processes your Play Games profile to provide that feature. This is optional and governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not receive or store your Google account credentials.

Unity (game engine). FOR YOU is built with the Unity engine. Unity may collect limited technical and diagnostic information, such as crash reports and basic device and operating-system details, to help us identify and fix problems. This is processed under Unity's privacy policy.

We do not use advertising networks, we do not sell or share your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Children's privacy

FOR YOU is a satirical game intended for a general or teen audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us and Google or Unity as appropriate.

Data security and retention

Because we do not collect personal information directly, we do not hold a personal-data store about you. On-device data remains under your control and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data processed by Google or Unity is retained according to their respective policies.

Your choices and rights

  • You can stop microphone or motion use at any time by not playing those mini-games, or by revoking the permission in your device settings (some games may then be unavailable).

  • You can clear all locally stored progress by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights over data processed by Google or Unity; please refer to their privacy policies to exercise those rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be made available with the app.
